Hi,

I've got this strange problem. After installing a fresh copy of Intrepid and booting it up, Ubuntu only recognizes 2 GB of RAM, while my system has 3 GB of RAM. The BIOS recognizes 3 GB and with my previous installation of Intrepid, I was able to use that 3 GB.

Please help me fix this, I really need all of my RAM to work.

Sorry for my bad English.

Thanks in advance!

At the GRUB menu, run the memtest to make sure all the RAMs are good. Otherwise, switch them around on the mobo.

I did Memtest86+, it recognized 3 GB, no errors.
Switching them around wouldn't help, the problem must be within my fresh install of Intrepid. From the first use, it only recognized 2 GB, all previous installations recognized 3 GB.
Thanks anyway.

Switching the RAMs om the mobo didn't made any difference. Does anyone has another suggestion?
