Hey all. Iv searched and found some old threads about this problem, but still haven't found a solution. Every time I try to play Counter Strike 1.6 or Condition Zero the game launches fine, I can join a server, and then 10 seconds later my computer freezes.
I have the hl.exe in the Applications setting set to windows xp and Iv tried setting it to windows 98 and it still freezes. And I have also tried setting the audio driver to OSS instead of ALSA, that just makes the game have no sound and it still freezes.
I am using Ubuntu 8.04 and the latest version of WINE. Anyone know of any other things I can try?
