I am absolutely new to Ubuntu and my first issue is a blinking wifi LED. If anyone can help, please keep your response as basic as possible as I haven't quite learned how to use the advanced feature Ubuntu has to offer. I would also like to say that I think Ubuntu is excellent so far and I am glad I chose it to be my new O/S. Thanks in advance to anyone with a helpful response.

Edit: My wifi card is and intel pro 3945abg.

After doing several searches, I haven't found a proper fix yet. There must be someone who has fixed this problem.

From what I've read this is a bug in iwl3945 and the module is being worked on upstream, though no user-level fix is available. Hopefully we'll see it work better in later kernel versions.

If anyone has information to the contrary, please come forward.
