I have been looking for an answer to this in 2 different forums and have yet to get an answer. Go gigabit wired. It's better.

Umatchan,

I was just searching for the same thing, as I may be upgrading soon. I found this thread, where they seem to have been able to get the thing to work.

I'm not sure if it is a USB or pci card however, saying that though it would suggest that other ralink pci cards that use the same / similar chipset should work equally easily!

good luch in your search

Guys
I love Ubuntu- I absolutely do, I cant wait to convert all my other XP machines to Ubuntu exclusively - but problems like these are what is holding me back. I cant believe that driver support for 802.11n cards sucks so much on Ubuntu, and it is so uncommon for people here to have experienced these kinds of issues.... I was really hoping that more people would respond and help me out here.. Kinda dissapointed
