Hi peoples,

I have 2 SATA hard drives. I have one on SATA1 and one on SATA2 on my motherboard. One has a short cable, the other has a longer cable. When I connect just one or the other with the short cable, it is recognized by ubuntu. If I try to connect both, only the one with the shorter cable will be recognized. Now, both of them, however, are recognized in the BIOs. I went out and bought another sata cable, of medium length, and it isnt fixing the problem. I tried removing my CMOS battery but this doesn't help. Could this be a problem with jumpers? THank you.
