Where are the "Thank you" and "solved" features?

In a post (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1039481) earlier this month I mentioned the "Thank you" feature and the ability to mark your posts "Solved" have been removed. We hope to add them back or find an alternative method that is less intense on our database.

We apologize and hope to have a resolution for you soon as we understand these features were popular.

At this time we have no plans to being these features back to the forums. They do not scale well with the size of our forum or take into account our configuration which causes corruption problems on our database. Perhaps in the future if these addon products are improved upon we will look at including them in the forums.
