I just scanned a document that I would like to save to my computer using xsane. The scan went fine, and now I would like to save the file.

At first I couldnt get it to save, so I looked up the documentation for the program, and read how to get it in save mode.
Ive typed in the destination where I would like to save, and hit accept and it still doesnt save. I cant find where to save it from.
Anyone had this problem before? How did you resolve it?

Thanks in advance.

Not sure this will hel as I use Ubuntu 8.04. When I use XSane, I click Save and Ubunut selects this place for me to save the file. /home/lexon/out.pnm
Lexon is my Home folder. I then type in the name I want and I change the file to .jpg so I end up with xxxx.jpg, xxxx bing the name I select.
Check your HOME folder for the file.
