My main PC is using Ubuntu 8.1 Intrepid Ibex. My wireless USB key Buffalo Airstation WLI-U2-KG125S works on this system, no adjustments necessary.

I have loaded and updated my Dell Latitude CPx with XUBUNTU 8.1 and it will not recognize my USB key.

Is there a way to find out what my Ubuntu machine is using to make this USB key work and apply it to my Xubuntu machine?

I notice that the wiki list does not have this particular model listed as supported.

Any help is much appreciated.

I got my Buffalo wireless USB Key WLI-U2-KG125S to work with ndiswrapper referring to this link: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=561412

When I reboot, I am unable to connect (it seems as if it is not seing the Wifi USB key)....until I reboot again.

What is the difference between Xubuntu and Ubunto 8.10 in which Xubuntu forces me to use the ndiswrapper? Ubuntu found it with the standard OS install.

You guys are great, your forums helped me find the correct video driver for my NVIDIA 6100.
