gnome-settings-daemon isnt working

alpha3 user here.. upgraded from intrepid...

the gnome settings daemon isnt working.. starting or anything..

i got ugly displays.. is there a bug filled cos i cant find one...

any one have this problem too?

Delete the ~/.config/monitors.xml file.
