I have a Toshiba A100 satellite computer. It has onboard Bluetooth. However it was an OEM machine that lived with Vista until I murdered that orrible system - never to return!
So now I am using Ubuntu 8.10 with Gnome 2 - and I have installed the Buetooth manager. It cannot see my phone and nor can the phone see the laptop. I went onto the Toshiba site and found a heap of downloadable bluetooth stacks, but they are all for windows OS
Does anyone know what I have to install or configure to obtain Bluetooth funcionality?
