Hello,
being fed up with my mac mini PPC ( OS X 10.3.9 ) unable to work with Mythtv, i switched it to Linux.
Well, i tried Ubuntu first but it didn't recognize its DVD drive so it now work on Debian ( but that is not my problem right now, even if i found it strange ).

But i bought EyeTV bundled with that ! Terratec Cinergy 400 USB mk2. Since i saw the "Terratec Cinergy 400 USB on Gutsy" by termostaat in your archives, i decided that it was the only place to ask for such a question :

is there any way to have that thing to work on Linux ?

( beside me trying to program something more complex that an 'hello world' not riddeld with bugs and/or basic logic errors :p )

from http://blog.freyhult.net/2007/10/terratec-cinergy-400-usb-mk2-and-linux.html , i understand that the problem is the IC3160-64TQ chip used and it seem that only Terratec used it. ( it is not mentioned on linuxtv.org )

thanks for any answer / additional information.
