Crysis game wont work in wine

i have installed wine and crysis onto ubuntu 8.04 hardy with all the recent updates and when i try to run it it looks like he game is loading ( cursor has the loading symbol) then it stops and nothing else happens.

Anyone had the same problem??

Give us more info about your system, specifically your video hardware and what drivers you're using for them.
