Hey all,
just got ubuntu-minimal for my VPS and idk if it has what's needed to use things like Web or FTP, possibly even Quassel.

If it doesn't have the capability right now it can be easily added on (even the desktop installs can run server apps, it's just not very efficient). If you want webhosting I recommend installing apache, for FTP I would recommend proftpd. Just use the regular apt-get like you would with a normal desktop install.

just installed apache2... but it used my IP as domain... I have a domain of my own though, how can i configure apache to recognize my domain(or w/e it is to get apache to use my domain). :)

thank you.
