Hi all hope someone can help me get this working then I can switch my computer at work over to Ubuntu. There is a program call Iceten that is used to log into our server at work. I have never gotten anything to long in, so if with wine I can get this to work I am set. The problem is no matter what I do it does not find the autoexec.bat file and I have tried all kinds of search to find a solution. It may be a simple fix but not sure what it may be the setup program once I created the autoexec.bat put in the path needed as compared to the setup at work on my windows computer.
Any Help would be very much appreciated

Hey Grumpy.
is this the ice ten http://www.icetcp.com/ your referring too.
Its for connecting windows to a Unix based server...
If so i think you might not need it as Linux is *nix based there is prolly a much better way of connecting directly.
I would suggest posting in the networking section asking about connecting to your Unix based server.
If i am wrong then please disregard my post.

Hi Brynster
Yes it is and it is a dos based program and needs autoexec.bat to work and I have not been able to get anything to connect to the server. It is a serial based network system, very old and cant get the fount to work with cutecom have tried it.
Thanks
