problems.... I need help

I'm having problems with synaptic, I want to install something (i.e frozen bubble) and i can't.... it says network problems and give me this message

I did what the told me in a tutorial... baking up and replacing everything with the new script. I had more trouble and i did the thing at the bottom of the tutorial... and nothing work... can somebody help me :confused: :confused:
I'd really want to install more things from synaptic... by the way do i need internet conecction to use it????? :confused:

Yes, you need an active internet connection to download new software.

You can also apt-get off of the distro cd
