I have an asus M3A and my Northbridge (the QFP next to the CPU) is over heating and is at 71-75 Degrees Celsius. And to top that off ASUS made it impossible to put a different cooler on the chip by using retention brackets instead of mounting holes. I have no idea when its going to fail-over on me but i hope its not soon because I don't have enough money to buy a new motherboard. Anyone have any ideas on how to cool it better?

Solved! upgraded my M3A mobo to a M3A78 PRO last night and it runs much much cooler and not to mention faster because of the better Front Side Bus (FSB) in the new mobo.
