Ok, I bought a new Acer Aspire 4935 last week, installed Ubuntu and everything. am having trouble with the sound (am a newbie :D), anyway, the sound is working but on the laptops speakers. I have some external speakers and when i plug it the sound is still coming out from the laptops speakers.
My screen problem is that i have 19" acer monitor, when i connect it, the laptops screen is still working, both screens giving me the same output, what i want is the 19" monitor to be working only and alone.
i tried changing some of the settings but i couldnt figure it out, and as i said am a newbie :D
