Hi.

I've installed Ubuntu Studio on my MacPro.
When I boot the system via rEFIt i see a Terminal like command line asking me for login and password. The the process stops.

How do I get to the GUI?

if your install was successful, you should boot into the GUI. Since you see a console there is likely something wrong. Do you ever see the grub menu?
