Site down ?

I have had trouble accessing this site over the previous 24 hours or so, has it been down ?

They've been having DB problems...I think it crashed or something and became corrupted.

Ubuntu-geek (user #1) has been working on it for a couple of days. He is owed a great big THANK YOU from everyone here!

Apparently the problems over the last week or so with the proxy has caused some major database corruption. Both ubuntu-geek (the founder of these forums) and cannonical have been working endlessly to get the forums working again. It will probably be some time before everything will be working perfectly again (think the thanks feature), but ubuntu-geek and everyone working on the forums deserves a big round of applause! Thanks guys!

EDIT: The problem is hardware and proxy problems causing unclean closures to the database tables.

Me too, but I have found if I go to another page on the forums, it shows me logged in. I think it's a bug in the redirect page.
