OpenGL Drivers for S3 ProSavageDDR?

I installed it without any hiccups, but the 3d acceleration is still really slow
glxinfo says 'no' for direct rendering
what am I doing wrong

when i do xdriinfo i get
Xlib: extension "XFree86-DRI" missing on display ":0.0".
Screen 0: not direct rendering capable.

I used to play Warcraft 3 under XP so I know the card is capable of rendering, so I am a bit confused.

Fixed it. Thanks for the link. But you forgot to mention that I need Xorg 6.9Rc1. I'm assuming Breezy shipped with Xorg 6.8.2 which was why it was not working.
