I updated my long term support version of Ubuntu to the current short term support, it went well except that there are no drivers for my graphics card and I can not find it on my Hardware Drivers list. I also want to delete my OSX partition from within Ubuntu if possible because my CD drive does not work and can therefore not do it from the OSX intall disc.

BTW I have a Macbook 1.1
Thanks for any help! :)

I would be very surprised if there was a driver on the 8.04, but not on 8.10 cd. Be as it may, you may want to help us help you, by telling what graphics card that is. Post the output of <sudo lshw -C display> if you don't know.

you shouldn't need to activate any drivers for your machine. What is the problem?

Are you sure you need to delete OS X? If the machine is relatively new, firmware updates could be a good reason to keep at least a small install around...
