C&C tiberian sun/wine install

im trying to install C&C tiberian sun but i cant get the installer started, how do i get to my cdrom from my terminal???

it should be under the /media/cdrom folder

or if you are lazy you may try at /cdrom that is a symlink to /media/cdrom

now that i have gotten the installer to start its saying this
an older verson of comcrl32.dll exists on your computer. tiberian sun needs this file updated to run. please update it now
then when i press update it says your system does not need this update
how can i fix it?

and sometimes it doesnt say that and it will say please insert cd

if you press cancel, another similar message will pop up, press cancel again, and the installer will run ok...
