installing games under wine

I keep getting some file transfer errors. When doing myst it said it couldn't copy a file form z:\ whatever to c:\program files\myst. Do I have something configured wrong? anyone have some ideas? I also can't install Zork Nemesis, cause it can't copy a file either. It says to check the destination. Starcraft won't run because it says there is no cd in the drive. I tried to run the no cd crack, but it didn't work. Help please...

I doubt you've configured anything wrong. Sounds like a simple copy error.

Here's what I'd like you to do;

Go to a terminal and try to copy the files as you did before. Then copy and paste all the steps you took and the errors that you got. Just paste them into a reply. Then we can work out why it can't find the destination.

I tried to find the individual file, and copy it before I installed the game, but I think it is hidden in the setup.exe, because I can't find it any where. Do you think it would work to copy the contents of the cd to the hd and install from there, deleting the install files afterward?
