I'm building a brand new system and will be installing Ubuntu 8.10 on it. The only reason I switched away from Ubuntu was when 8.04 came out my old Linksys (broadcom) card stopped working and I wasn't able to get ndiswrapper or anything else to work for me. PCI or USB will work, although I'd rather have PCI so that I could hook up an external antenna I already own.

For this system, I'd like to get something that works out of the box and uses drivers already available at installation without an internet connection. If its able to be purchased either at newegg or in-store at Fry's or Best Buy, perfect. Please help!

EDIT: I've looked at the list of supported cards, but a lot of that information is either old, outdated (pre-8.10) or incomplete. Thanks!
