No 5.1 from Rhythmbox / gstreamer not saving settings

I followed this post - http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=243500

I can get into gstreamer-properties and enter a custom pipeline, test works fine.

But the properties don't save! If I go in again it resets to the ALSA driver.

So I still can't get 5.1 working in Rhythmbox. Any ideas?

Sorted it! using Pulse audio instead of ALSA.
