I believe that is marijuana. Not exactly good PR for Ubuntu as a whole but meh. :P

Not good PR? Maybe to some, but I think the cannabis culture is one of the main groups we need to reach out to. Weed people have a lot in common with linux people, and a lot we can learn from as well:

*A reasonable well established worldwide online culture
*A sense of community with its own norms and art forms
*Outside-the-box thinking and challenging of dominant paradigms

The wallpaper is cool, and it may attract a group that is an obviously ally that we've done far too little active outreach to.
