wheres all my hd space in vista?

my laptop came with a 120gb hd and i dedicated 30gb to ubuntu and the rest to vista. i did a fresh install of vista the other day and only installed firefox, imgburn, and hadbrake. is there any reason why it says i only have 18gb of 73gb left? is there anything i can do to clear up the missing space?

Well, a small part of it is the whole GiB vs. GB difference. And a Vista install can take up to 15 GB of space alone.

But are you sure you really only gave 30 GB to Ubuntu?
