I have a new iMac Core2 2.66 GHz system on order. I hope to use Boot Camp to partition the drive and install ubuntu as a second OS. My question is, will I be able to run a Win XP flight simulator on it? Specifically, IL2 1946. As this is nearly the only Windows software I want to run, being able to do this is critical to even bothering with Boot Camp.
Obviously, my goal is to have a Microsoft-free zone but I really like ILs as a Flight Sim. Soooo... Help, help, help! :-s
(Thanks)

well go to your Ubuntu OS go to Applications>Acssessories>Terminal and type
"sudo apt-get install wine"
wine is a program that allows you to run SOME windows programs and most games if you have any further questions that you would like to be answered faster than on a Forum use Xchat Irc its a chatting tool that almost everyone on here uses you can get help way faster by going to the Ubuntu Linux terminal type "sudo apt-get install xchat"
then open it up go down the list of connections and find "FreeNode" join and it will ask to join a channel make sure you have "#ubuntu" and thats for faster answers to your questions by linux experts mostley
