Dear Fellows,
I would like to have my whole music collection in Amarok displayed similarly to that in Rythmbox.
I know, you can group your Files in Amarok in 3 levels. Well, I would like to have no level at all, just display the collection in a table like in Rythmbox.
Any ideas? Is this possible in Amarok?

Couldn't you just create a play list with all your tracks in it?

Yeah, sure enough, I could create a playlist or, more convenient, since it wil be updated,
Palylists > Smart Playlists > All collection
But you cannot filter as convenient for say, a certain artist, as in Rhytmbox.

Sure you can. Just use the search box at the top and it will only show what you have typed.
It seems like you are new to amarok. Use it for awhile and you will love it, rhythmbox is garbage.

Yes you can. I guess you missed "as convenient". It seems as if you were new to reading carefully.
In Amarok, you can filter by typing, in Rythmbox you can also filter by slecting (artists/genres/albums) from lists, which makes it more convenient IMHO.
Is there maybe a script out there for this function that I don't know of?
