Whenever I have my wireless connection set on my Dell XPS M1730 my WiFi light indicator keeps on blinking...Is that Normal?

can you give some more information?

did you enable any restriced driver yet?
what hardware type is used for the WIFI connection?
Does it work at all?

maybe you van try this and see if it works.

mine does the same on m1330 with intel wireless card. I think that the aim is to show that the card is connected and working.

Unfortunately it is normal, it was a recently added "feature" and one that I hate but I've been unable to disable so far.

Why people consider it necessary is beyond me - I know the card is working... I'm receiving data and don't have a network cable plugged in!!!

So if anyone knows of a way to stop the blinking (steady led = on would be fine) please feel free to advise.
