I'm not very experienced in the whole ALSA & pulseaudio thing, and I'm trying to set my microphone up (I'm using both Sound Recorder and Audacity to test) and in the Volume Control if I unmute for example "Capture" (or any other recording setting) under the recording tab of HDA Intel, as soon as I switch devices or close it, it has it automatically muted again.
