What are you using? Wine, cedega, cedega CVS?

wine, i tried to instal cedaga but i couldnt get it for some reason i couldnt get all the right stuff for it if you could help me with that i would be so happy

Are w talking about Cedega (the buy version) or Cedega the free compiling version?

If the first login in at Transgaming and get the .deb file of Cedega, then:
cd /where/the/package/is
sudo dpkg -i XXXXXXXXX.deb

where XXXXXX is the name of the package.

As far as I am concerned stronghold is not running well on wine so better try some version of cedega. However Crusader works perfectly on wine according to frankscorner.org

Just to toss in my $0.02. I installed windows 2k pro with VMware and run the game that way. Works just fine for me.
