The other day an OP was particularly helpful, It wasn't technical problem but he was really nice in the way he helped.
Should I use the thanks button to appreciate acts of kindness? Or is it there strictly for thanking technical support.
I'm obsessed with thanking and i thank everyone who deserves it. I don't remember the actual indecent but so I know for next time, shall I thank them?

It's there for helpful posts, whether they be technical, or they simply taught you something new, I would say if you found that post helpful, thank it.
That is, as long as you can thank it ;) What I would advise against doing is thanking everybody who replies :p

Your sig: If this post was useful click The thanks button (Medallion - bottom left corner)
And don't ask people to thank you ;-)
