Hello,
I recently installed Puppy on an old laptop of mine. I want it to play my music (which is on an external hard drive) so I plugged the HD in and...nothing. So I thought that maybe Ubuntu had spoiled me with automounting, and that I just had to mount it. I'm kind of an idiot when it comes to the Linux filesystem (remember this), but I saw an icon labelled "Mount", clicked on it, and it recognized my internal HD and floppy drive. There was an option to use a different mounter (I believe it's called 'mut') so I tried that out, and it finds my CD-ROM too.
How do I get my external HD recognized?
Thank you very much.
