Hi folks, I have a Dell Inspiron E1505 notebook with an Intel wireless card in it. It has been working fine now for over a year, but now there is no longer a "wireless connection" available under Network Settings. I'm running 7.04 but tried booting into a live session with an 8.04 disk and had the same problem. I suspect the card hardware has gone bad. It does show up however under 'lspci' as:

0b:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection (rev 02)

How can I confirm whether or not the card is dead? Thanks.
