I had to create a new account for myself on my xubuntu 8.10 box, as I couldn't run the GUI.
But know the new 'me' can not run the "Users and Groups" GUI, and other apps have choices grayed out in them.
Do I just need to add myself back into all the groups I belonged to before, OR, is there something special about the user created during the initial install?
