Hello,
I have managed to get steam and counter-strike running on wine 0.9.3
Everything was running great and then I started to lag. So I decided to close counter-strike and come check out the ubuntu forums here. I found the nice little how-to for using openbox in gnome instead of metacity. I successfully replaced metacity with openbox installed a couple of themes and then I decided to go back to playing counter-strike now it gets to the blue counter strike background and then the cursor appears in the middle of the screen and then it just hangs. The gnome system monitor shows the wine-preloader as "Zombie"
and sometimes you have to hit control+alt+backspace and then restart x.
I've also tried switching back to metacity and this makes no diffrence.
Anyone else having similar problems?
oh and does anyone know how to get full screen apps to go over the gnome panel?
