try it on the Absolute Beginner Talk (http://ubuntuforums.org/forumdisplay.php?f=326) first. Explain your issue in detail:
what is the exact error message you might get, what are your specs, how is the disk formated?

If you do not know how get this info someone will surely give you the right instructions.

If the issue is too advanced a moderator of the forum will move it to the right directory :D

WD 200gb drive, Ubuntu 8.10 . My 120 SATA has no issues, thankfully, but even after installing 8.10 on the 200 it wont let me drag and drop files =/
