Need more information. Open a terminal and type
ifconfig then type
route and paste the result of both commands here.

You are obviously on the internet on another computer to post here - is this on the same network? Can you ping other machines on the network from the affected machine?

Thanks!

Pan0 is about bluetooth apparently, you get an address, but no internet at all.

Strange thing is that your ethernet device is not showing up at all.
Is it enabled in the BIOS or not ?
According to a quick search for your Motherboard type, it should be some Realtek card.

Okay, can you try this first :

http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Configuring_network#Realtek_No_Link_.2F_WOL_issue

Method 2.

That sounds like a power-management issue.
Try searching in a search-engine for the word ubuntu (or linux) and the motherboard type you have.

I re read your posting, and in one of the first comments, there is a eth0 with an ip-address, in your later comments there's only pan0 :|

And did you have a working internet connection with 7.10 ?
