View Full Version : [ubuntu] OK button in network manager wireless setup unclickable

Hello,

I am running Ubuntu 8.10 (intrepid) on a Lenovo thinkpad t61 with Intel PRO/Wireless 2200bg, 2915abg, 3945bg, 3945abg, 4965ag, 4965agn Mini PCI adapter. I can see the wireless neighborhood in the network manager so ubuntu is definitely functioning with my wireless card, but when I click on a network to enter the authentication information and such the OK button is greyed out and unclickable. Same thing in edit connections ---> [wireless network] edit.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Is there an unlock button? If so, click it and enter your password when prompted.

Can you post a screenshot of the window your having problems with. Use Print Screen button to get the screen shot.

Screenshot attached. In this instance it is the connect button that is unclickable.

WPA keys are between 8 and 63 characters. Either you have incorrectly entered the key or you have entered the passphrase. Check to see if there is a WPA passphrase option in the dropdown list or enter the proper key.
