I installed electricsheep and set it as my default. The screen went black after 10 minutes (timer setting) and stayed that way until it went to sleep (30 minutes). I then fired it off from a terminal sessions, got the Please be patient while the first sheep is downloaded. An hour later I checked the FAQ. It said to make sure bit torrent would work so I downloaded the Ubuntu iso via Transmission.

Any ideas why I am not getting any sheep. Anyone remember Mandle Mountains on the Amiga?

I had a similar issue yesterday and it appears to be a problem with the servers keeping up with demand. If I were you, I would just download one of the sheep megapacks:

Must have been like you said, server load. I came out of the can to a beautiful screen!

I will try one of the mega packs as the images seem to be in an endless loop. That or I am too impatient.

try version 2.7 from our PPA it's way better and doesn't have bandwidth problems: https://launchpad.net/~flam3/+archive/ppa
