check this out....what happened

i dont know if i did that right.anyways..when i start wine and go to configure its all fuzzy and weird.it looks like someone scribbled all the options out.idk.if someone could help me it would be appreciated.

Could you post a screenshot to show what it looks like?

Also, if you're having trouble with wine, and if you don't mind reinstalling the Windows programs you were using, you can always delete the .wine folder in your home directory and type winecfg in the terminal to start from a clean slate.

ok...its not letting me post the pic.i tried to copy paste and i tried to upload it.it says invalid file type...idk..anyway...when i open up to configure wine...imagine someone took a pencil or pen and just scratched thru the words.thats what its doing.like they took a screen shot,opened the photo editor,and just scratched out the words like they were trying to hide it.if someone else is having this problem please let me know.also...i cant find the wine folder on my hdd.:confused:

just reinstalled wine and its still doing the same thing.

Sounds like a video hardware/driver issue.

I've seen this same thing numerous times, perhaps if you give more detail about your hardware someone will be able to offer you suggestions.

Reinstalling wine won't delete the .wine directory. If you want to do that, you have to press Ctrl+H in your home folder and scroll down to .wine and delete it (or rm -rf .wine)

If it's a hardware issue then removing the .wine and running winecfg won't do anything, but it'll get that option out of the way. =)

i delted wine from my home folder and deleted all traces of it off my comp.i went to winehg.org and dld it there.reinstalled it and the same thing happens.it looks like someone just scratched out the words.i dld wow and it still dose it there.all the words are scratched out.can someone help me.its not letting me post screen shots and i cant copy paste it.
