i just recently got a dell mini 9 and i have been attempting to learn it. Along with my mini i ordered 2gb of ram... and from what i have gathered the only way to get the OS to recognize the 2gb instead of 1 is to recompile the kernel. i do not trust myself to really do much right now, but i attempted to use KernelCheck. along the line i get "debian/ruleset/misc/checks.mk:36: *** Error"... does anyone know a way a newbie like myself can finish this or is it a lost cause?
