This afternoon when i booted up my IBM Thinkpad i was startled by a problem at 94% on an automatic FSCK and was made to run a manual fsck in read only mode, alright fine. I completed the FSCK and it repaired everything it needed to without a hitch. I have been trying to use this PC as a hub to get my Xbox 360 working, I had settled on using firestarter to edit my IPtables, now firestarter won't even start up. I have tried all of my shortcuts to the Firestarter program, and sudoing via terminal yields similar results. Under both instances I am given the loading icon and a Firestarter bar in the minimized toolbar for a few seconds and then all dissapears. A few minutes after this song and dance I am presented by a window that is completely blank save for the title "Failed to start the firewall" nothing else. Adding to the frustration I have to force quit the window every time. An image of the window is below, overall it's frustrating.http://i43.tinypic.com/rirsc8.png
