I've tried pfSense and that was really, good, but it was hard to do much else with it, since it was BSD based.
I've tried ClarkConnect, but the hardware support sucks and it's gimped unless you buy it.
I wanted to try eBox....but it couldn't detect my CD-ROM drive....when Ubuntu itself did?
Does anyone know any nice Linux based router/server Oses?

For that purpose I myself would use OpenBSD.

What couldn't you do with pfSense? I use pfSense and have no issues with it.
There are good Linux ones though: Endian and Untangle are probably the most professional looking.

Mostly I just don't know BSD at all, I'd like a box that'll be a dual wan router, that has wifi support so it's my wifi AP too, and has a webui like a "store bought router" would have.
In addition I'd like to run game servers and a vent server off of it, and be able to use it like a normal desk top should the odd ball event arise where I would ever need too.

I looked into it and looks like the one, is pay to use, and the free one, doesn't have dual wan.
Looks like everywhere I go pfsense is recommended for dual wan, haha.
So I guess I'll be prowling their form to see how to get vent and other servers up and going

Ok, poked around more on the pfsense forums, looks like having everything in one box sounds nice, but isn't a good idea in practice...so I guess I'll use PFsense as a router, then make a different server box.
