I'm capturing DV off my video camera Panasonic NV-GS400. I can see the camera and indeed capture video using dvgrab, Kino or Kdenlive.
However, I don't get any audio with my captured video which is something of a drawback!
My Firewire card is 05:07.0 FireWire (IEEE 1394): Agere Systems FW323 (rev 04), basically a Belkin branded card and I'm using the onboard sound from the Via chipset (I believe!) not ATI
02:00.1 Audio device: ATI Technologies Inc RV610 audio device [Radeon HD 2400 PRO]
04:01.0 Audio device: VIA Technologies, Inc. VT1708/A [Azalia HDAC] (VIA High Definition Audio Controller) (rev 10)
Audio works on everything else and I'm using ALSA drivers.
Help!!!!!:(
