I finally got my wireless card working!!!

My wireless card is an Atheros AR5006EG 802.11 b/g
I'm using Hardy Heron... release 8.04
I'm working on an Acer TravelMate 2480-2698 laptop

Not sure how i found the ling to the website where i found the driver but i know i found it in these forums, so thanks to whoever led me there!!!

Found the driver at Linux Wireless, http://wireless.kernel.org/
More specifically http://wireless.kernel.org/en/users/Download#Howaboutcompatibilityworkforkernelsoldert han2.6.21.3F

Just followed the very easy to use instructions on the page. This was especially helpful as i'm quite the newbie.

Great you got it working however since you are telling me you used git sources (which are great), it would be great if you actually posted the steps here since many on these forums would have no clue what to do unless its specifically spelled out for them like a cookbook.

Thanks.

I would really like that walkthrough, step by step :)
The madwifi drivers isn't really working for me, so some help would be appreciated!

I have the exact same laptop as you, btw. And currently using Jaunty.
