I am switching to kubuntu when the next version (9.04) releases and I am looking for a web browser alternative to fire fox that is based on qt, I am strongly considering opera but I have heard that it doesn't support flash very well in linux, i tryed it on a mac and flash seems to work fine, but does anybody know for sure if flash on opera works in linux.

Thanks in advanced.

This page might help, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_web_browsers#Graphical but I don't have specific knowledge of any of them.

Flash 10 seems to do the trick, most Flash things work like a charm here-stable and functional even under Opera10alpha2. Flash 9 was awful-a step above nothing, which it was.

I've got Opera on my 64-bit 8.04.1 Ubuntu and Flash works beautifully -

And I'm pretty sure that when I was using 32-bit Ubuntu, there were absolutely no problems

So I would guess that Opera in Kubuntu will be okay...
