I'm in the process of ordering new hardware and am basically going for the cheapest available that has all the features essential for me. No high-end gamer hardware required.
When it comes to the CPU, I'd go for an E5200 (cheapest 45nm Wolfdale Core CPU), however it does not have VT.
I've searched Intel's website and googled, but have failed to find a clear-cut list of those Intel CPU's currently available that do ship with VT.

Could somebody provide either a link or, if known, just name the cheapest VT-CPU?

Thanks a bunch, Johannes

You could have used Intel's processor finder tool.

http://processorfinder.intel.com/

Select Intel® Core™2 Duo Desktop Processor and use the filter. Visualization is the last one under Supported Features.

Prices vary so look for a good deal & make sure your motherboard supports it.
