View Full Version : [ubuntu] Modem MC8780 - authorization failed

Hello
I'm new in linux world ;)
I instaled Ubuntu 8.10 on my laptop Fujitsu-Siemens H250 with GSM modem MC8780 (Sierra Wireless)
Modem is correctly detected in system, and i can try connection but i can't input pin :(
I configure my connection by network manager aplet, all seems correct, but when i try connect, winndow with pin request appears, i typing pin and click OK, but window appaer again, and again, and again....
I don't know what is wrong, I think that problem is in right access to some files, but I don't know what i can do :(

Please help me, i don't know what i'm doing wrong :(

You don't have problems connecting in Windows; in other words, you know that the PIN you are using is the correct one?

sure, i work everyday on this laptop, and connect with internet without any problems ;)
